Arami Walker is a musician, author, and activist focused on empowering women and people of color. She graduated from UCLA in 2015 as a True Bruin Distinguished Scholar and a Gates Millennium Scholar.

As a musician and poet, she has performed at Langston Hughes performance art institute, Seattle art museum, folk life music festival, waco theatre north hollywood, and more. She has published three poetry books focused on culture, music, identity, and race.

Her first album, “A Universe by Nature” is available on Spotify, Apple music, Pandora and Tidal.
